We have showed Elcano Near in the stand of Adif at Fitur 2019. This product of the Elcano platform allows public and private entities to display information about train schedules of a station in monitors and display devices.
Adif has published an update of its app "Adif en tu móvil", based on Elcano App that includes the new "Avisos a estaciones" functionality. This new functionality will allow to inform users about the incidents they detect in the stations managed by Adif, allowing a faster and more efficient resolution.
We have showed, at Adif stand on Fitur 2019, Elcano platform. The Minister of Public Works and Transport – Ministro de Fomento, José Luis Ábalos, together with the President of Adif, Isabel Pardo, visited the stand and were interested in the new features of "Adif en tu móvil" app.
The last version of the app for mobile devices "Adif en tu móvil", include new functionalities that improve the usability and the interactions with others applications.
At the beginning of November, work was completed to implement the Adif passenger information system, called Elcano, in the stations of Vinarós and Benicarló. This action is part of the Implementation Plan of the Adif Passenger Information System, agreed between the "Dirección de Estaciones" and the "DG de Circulación y Gestión de la Capacidad".
During the last weeks, actions have been carried out for the implementation of ELCANO as a passenger information system (PIS), in the Toledo, Ciudad Real and Puertollano high-speed stations attached to the "Subdirección de Estaciones de Viajeros Centro".
The "Dirección General de Circulación y Gestión de Capacidad" and the "Dirección de Estaciones de Viajeros" of Adif together with Elecnor-Deimos carry out the deployment of the Elcano system in 240 stations. This action is part of the Implementation Plan of the Adif passenger information system throughout its rail network, in order to provide quality information in real time to all passengers.
